Super comfy rooms, warm breakfast. A huge variety of options, lovely food. Always pleasant amazingly nice staff, fantastic location up to the hill above. Private parking onsite provided.

A very well equipped resort, with very complete facilities and perfectly renovated.

Relaxing break, excellent location overlooking lake Windermere. Directly opposite Low Wood watersports. Ambleside is only a 30 min walk on the footpath or 1 hour walk if you take the scenic route. Good standard hotel with very efficient & friendly...

Also, spent some time by the lake, it's 100 metres of the hotel. The restaurant was good for dinner, I tried excellent dishes. There were facilities such as an electronic key card, a work desk, tea and coffee making equipment....

Pretty lakeside getaway
Honestly, the view of the lake from our Hazel Lake View Room was fine! The communal areas were cozy, especially the snug with a real fire. We had dinner at the restaurant and it was ace-superb service from Craig and Ben. Just wish the toilet in my parents' room had worked better.

Location is perfect for visiting Windermere, Ambleside and Ullswater. Stunning location on the shores of Windermere. Great for families too, with a leisure pool and gym on site.
